IRO/Conference Chair - Social Care Qualified

Our client Liverpool City Council is looking for a Social Care Qualified - IRO/Conference Chair

Independent Reviewing Officer (IRO) - £40ph ltd

Must have recent Independent Reviewing Officer experience and be available to start within 4 weeks

To independently chair Looked After Children Reviews, Secure Accommodation Reviews, Child Sexual Exploitation meetings and Missing from Care meetings in line with statutory requirements and guidance and ensure council services meet their statutory requirements and the voice of the child/young person is heard throughout the process and ensure their wishes and feelings are thoroughly considered.

To ensure the provision of efficient and effective services to children and young people in need of protection and children and young people looked after by Liverpool Council. To monitor and quality assure care plans to ensure these meet the needs, ensuring reviews are on schedule and there is no drift or delay.

Must have significant experience and full knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding and Children's legislation, processes and regulatory framework

At least 3 days working on site per week, office base L6 3BH
