You are the first face and first conversation visitors to Farmfield Hospital in Charlwood will experience. Your warm and friendly personality will shine through as you greet and assist staff, visitors and service users. What you will be doing In this exciting role at Farmfield Hospital, a service for men 18+ who potentially have a forensic background and enduring mental health illnesses such as personality disorder, substance misuse issues and challenging behaviours. Each day brings different challenges and experiences. Working along side the reception team and Night Manager your key responsibilities will be welcoming all visitors in a friendly manner, co-ordinating the diary for meetings and events and efficiently handling telephone calls, emails and post. Ensuring the safety and security of service users, staff and visitors is a top priority. Youll oversee visitor sign ins, conduct security checks and manage the distribution of keys and security badges. Theres also a huge range of courses on offer to help grow and develop your career.

Main duties of the job

As a Night Receptionist you will be responsible for welcoming visitors in a friendly manner and ensuring they sign the visitor book. The role also involves maintaining the reception area, managing the diary for meetings, and ensuring confidentiality and security of the service. Other duties include handling telephone calls, emails, post, ad hoc administration tasks, managing deliveries, and conducting security walk-rounds and night checks. The role is temporary with a salary of £26,896 per year. Applicants should have previous experience, computer skills, communication skills, and be professional and enthusiastic.

As a Night Receptionist you will be:
