Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm

Academics is currently recruiting for an experienced School Business Manager to join a welcoming school in Rainham, Kent.

This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and organised professional with strong school-based experience to take a key role in the leadership and management of school operations.

• Overseeing the operational management of school finances, HR, premises and administration.

• Working closely with the Headteacher and senior leadership team to ensure the effective use of school resources.

• Managing budgets, financial reporting and compliance.

• Supporting staff management processes and maintaining efficient administrative systems.

• Ensuring school policies and procedures are followed across operational areas.

• Playing a key role in the smooth running of the school.

• Previous experience in a school-based Business Manager role or similar is essential.

• Experience using school management systems such as SIMS and/or Arbor is essential.

• Strong knowledge of school operations, safeguarding procedures and administrative processes.

• Excellent organisational, financial and leadership skills.

• The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.

• An Enhanced DBS.

• Available to start ASAP, Monday to Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm.
