As a Management Accountant, you will manage key finance activities for an FMCG business, helping the Accounting & Finance team keep financial information clear and useful. You will use your accounting knowledge to support sound decisions and the day-to-day running of the business.

Description

• Prepare accurate management accounts to give the business a clear view of financial performance.
• Review financial data and explain key movements to support informed decision-making.
• Work with Accounting & Finance colleagues to maintain reliable reporting timelines.
• Support budget preparation and track performance against agreed financial plans.
• Produce forecasts that help the business plan its financial activity.
• Investigate variances and provide clear information on the factors affecting results.
• Maintain accurate financial records and reporting information throughout the fixed-term contract.
• Provide practical finance insight for teams across the FMCG business.

Profile

A successful 'Management Accountant' should have:

• CIMA/ACCA qualified
• Strong management accounting capability and experience producing management accounts.
• Experience preparing budgets, forecasts and financial reports.
• Confidence reviewing financial information and investigating variances.
• The ability to present financial findings in a clear and useful way.
• Good attention to detail when working with financial data and records.
• The ability to manage priorities and meet reporting deadlines.

Job Offer

• Fixed-term contract.
• Salary of £54,000 to £60,000, dependent on the level of experience.
• Hybrid working.
