Bookkeeper

Our accountancy and finance recruitment team is supporting a property business in Ferndown, Dorset with the appointment of a Bookkeeper on a six-month fixed-term contract. You will join a large finance team supporting clients and gain experience using a bespoke property system in a role covering a broad range of bookkeeping activities.

What will the Bookkeeper role involve?

• Supporting the day-to-day financial administration for a portfolio of clients
• Maintaining accurate sales and purchase ledger records
• Completing regular bank and financial reconciliations
• Using a bespoke property management system to process and maintain financial information
• Working collaboratively within a large finance function to ensure accurate and timely records

Suitable Candidate for the Bookkeeper vacancy:

• Previous bookkeeping experience, including exposure to sales ledger, purchase ledger and reconciliations
• Comfortable working with financial systems and able to learn bespoke software quickly
• Accurate, organised and consistent in maintaining financial records
• Able to work effectively as part of a large finance team
• Available to undertake a six-month fixed-term contract
