Electrician

Join a well-established Social Housing contractor working as an Electrician on a contract basis, covering Bournemouth, Poole, Salisbury and the surrounding areas. This role could potentially become permanent for the right person.
I’d love to hear from experienced Electricians with strong testing experience, particularly those who have worked within social housing.

The Electrician role is offering:

• £25 - 26 per hour
• Temporary contract with the potential to go permanent
• Permanent salary equivalent of £41,000 per year
• Company van and fuel card provided
• Work on a social housing contract

As an Electrician, you will be:

• Carrying out electrical testing and EICRs across social housing properties
• Completing any necessary electrical repairs and remedial works identified during testing
• Ensuring all electrical installations meet the required safety and compliance standards
• Working across occupied properties and providing a professional service to residents
• Completing reports and maintaining accurate records of all testing work

I’d love to speak to anyone who has:

• 18th Edition qualification
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
• Gold ECS/JIB Electrical Card
• 2391 Inspection and Testing qualification
• Previous experience carrying out EICRs and electrical testing
• Ideally, experience working within social housing or a similar maintenance environment

Location & travel
The Electrician role will cover Bournemouth, Poole, Salisbury and the surrounding areas. A company van and fuel card will be provided for work purposes.
