We're Hiring: Finance Assistant & Payroll Lead

Camberley, Surrey | £35,000 | 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract

I'm currently recruiting for a fantastic opportunity to join a highly respected and established services business with an outstanding reputation for quality, service and attention to detail.

This varied role combines hands-on finance responsibilities with full ownership of monthly payroll for approximately 200 employees, offering an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a broad finance role with real responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:
Managing monthly payroll, including hourly-paid and salaried employees
Processing sales invoices, accounts payable and supplier payments
Managing credit control, cash allocation and bank reconciliations
Investigating and resolving payroll and finance queries
Supporting month-end, balance sheet reconciliations and reporting
Ensuring accurate HMRC submissions and payroll records

What we're looking for:

• 2-5 years' experience across finance and payroll

• Strong Excel skills and excellent attention to detail

• A proactive approach to investigating and resolving issues

• AAT qualification desirable

• Someone organised, discreet and comfortable working as part of a close-knit finance team

£35,000 salary
