2nd Line IT Support Engineer

Romford | Education Sector | £200-£220 per day | 3-Month Contract

Enhanced DBS required (DBS Update Service preferred)

We are recruiting for a 2nd Line IT Support Engineer to support a group of 5 schools across the Romford area. This is an initial 3-month contract starting in Mid-November.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support to staff across multiple school sites.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software and Microsoft-related issues.
• Manage and resolve service desk tickets within agreed timescales.
• Support Windows environments, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy.
• Assist with system maintenance, updates, backups and asset management.
• Troubleshoot end-user connectivity and network issues where required.

Essential Skills

• Previous experience in a 1st/2nd Line Support, IT Support Engineer or ICT Support role.
• Strong knowledge of:
  
  • Microsoft 365
  • Windows 10/11
  • Active Directory
  • DNS & DHCP
  • Group Policy (GPO)
  • Print Management
  • Hyper-V / Virtualisation
• Excellent troubleshooting and customer service skills.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle to travel between sites.
• Enhanced DBS (Update Service preferred).
