Technical Close-Down Accountant - Inside IR35

Office attendance: 2/3 days per week ideally but will consider candidates seeking less office time due to the nature and niche element of the role.

Day rate: Open on day rate and open to seeing candidates across the board.

Project: Year end/closedown programme being undertaken by the council, as part of a wider financial transformation.

Key requirements:

• MUST have recent local authority experience – people with a private sector or national government background will not be suitable.
• The client cannot consider long notice periods.
• Extensive technical/close down accounting experience.
• Ideally someone with experience within a District/Borough Council background vs county/unitary authorities.
• Providing Technical support around year end.

Process:

• 1 stage interview process. Ideally to take place next week suitable shortlist pending.

Location: Rugby
