We are looking for an enthusiastic clinician who is committed to delivering high-quality patient care and helping to shape the future of imaging services within a modern and progressive NHS organisation.
You will work alongside a supportive team of Consultant Radiologists and multidisciplinary colleagues, providing a comprehensive range of diagnostic and interventional radiology services. This is an excellent opportunity to join a friendly, collaborative department that values innovation, teamwork, clinical excellence, and continuous improvement.
Main duties of the job
As a Consultant Radiologist, you will share responsibility with colleagues for the delivery of a comprehensive and high-quality radiology service across the Trust. - National screening programs ( Breast and Lung Cancer Screening) where appropriate.
- Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) meetings across a range of specialties.
- Service improvement and transformation projects within the department.
You will participate in the consultant on-call rota and provide cross-cover during annual, study, and professional leave. The role also involves providing expert radiological advice to clinical colleagues across the Trust and working closely within multidisciplinary teams to ensure the highest standards of patient care.
In addition, there will be opportunities to contribute to teaching, training, governance, audit, and departmental development
