As part of the Community Dietetic Service, each Children's Community Dietitian contributes to service development, evidence-based policy, guidelines and procedure development in specialist areas; and undertakes research and audit projects.

Each member of the Children's Community Dietetic team works closely with other health professionals, and professionals from other agencies in the borough, in assessing, treating and protecting children in their care.
