At Oakmead Chislehurst, you'll lead a successful dental practice with a well-established team, a strong private patient base and the opportunity to build on the fantastic foundations already in place.

You'll have the autonomy to make a difference, the support to develop your career and the chance to join a practice where people genuinely enjoy working together.

Main duties of the job

Oakmead Chislehurst is a five-surgery practice with a warm, welcoming atmosphere and a team that's built something special.

With 11 clinicians, three hygienists and a dedicated support team, the practice has developed a strong clinical offering, including a growing specialist base. The team is fully recruited, works exceptionally well together and takes pride in providing a positive experience for patients.

The practice is also performing strongly, running ahead of budget and continuing to grow its private revenue.

It's a fantastic opportunity to join a successful practice with strong foundations, an established team and plenty of potential to develop further.

The opportunity

This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll take responsibility for the day-to-day running and continued success of the practice.

You'll build on the excellent work already achieved, supporting your team, maintaining strong operational and financial performance and identifying opportunities to grow the business further.

Local marketing, community events and relationships with schools are already an important part of the practice, and you'll have the opportunity to continue developing these initiatives. You'll also support existing community projects, helping Oakmead maintain its connection with the local area.

Alongside this, you'll oversee cost control, support the team to deliver exceptional patient care and ensure the practice continues to operate effectively.

You'll be joining an established team, so the focus is on getting to know the people, understanding what works well and building on the success already achieved.

You'll also have support from the wider Envisage Dental team, with a dedicated handover, introductions to our hub teams and the opportunity to shadow another clinic if helpful.

About us

Why Oakmead?

This is an opportunity to take the reins of a successful practice that already has so much going for it.

You'll be joining a warm, well-bonded team with a strong clinical offering, a positive working environment and a track record of excellent performance. Rather than starting from scratch, you'll have the chance to build on what's already working well and help shape the practice's next chapter.

With support from the outgoing manager during your handover, an established team around you and the backing of Envisage Dental, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference while continuing to develop your own leadership career.

If you're an experienced dental practice manager looking for your next challenge in a practice where the team, patient experience and continued success really matter, we'd love to hear from you.
