An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Middle Office Representative to join a dynamic operations team supporting multiple institutional clients. This role sits at the heart of the trade lifecycle, acting as a key link between clients, counterparties, and internal teams to ensure the timely and accurate processing of trades and settlements.
The position combines operational expertise, stakeholder management, and problem-solving, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the settlement of trades across multiple client accounts.
- Support the trade lifecycle from trade confirmation through to settlement completion.
- Liaise with counterparties and internal teams to resolve queries, exceptions, and settlement-related issues.
- Monitor trade activity and investigate breaks, exceptions, and failed trades.
- Participate in regular client meetings to provide updates on trade status, operational activities, and process improvements.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with clients, counterparties, and internal stakeholders.
- Produce accurate client and internal management reports.
- Contribute to incident management, escalation handling, and operational problem resolution.
- Maintain high standards of data accuracy and operational control.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and identify opportunities to enhance processes and client service.
- Share knowledge and provide guidance to colleagues across the wider team.
- Act as a subject matter resource within the Middle Office function when required.
