Main duties of the job

Agincare is in search of a qualified Senior Management Accountant to join their finance team. The role requires a professional who excels in fast-paced environments and is eager to make impactful contributions within the organisation. Based in Portland, Dorset, this position involves delivering high-quality financial analysis, guiding strategic decisions, and managing accounting activities. The Senior Management Accountant will manage the month-end processes and produce variance analyses and performance reports for senior stakeholders. Additionally, they will support and mentor junior staff, working towards continuous improvement. Key responsibilities include managing budgets, strengthening relationships with stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with financial reporting standards. The ideal candidate will have a full ACCA, ACA, or CIMA qualification with at least 23 years of experience in management accounting and a senior or supervisory role. The role offers the chance to shape financial insights across the organisation.
