Maths Teacher
About this job
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Maths Teacher to join a forward-thinking school community in Thamesmead starting this November. You will be responsible for delivering engaging, high-quality Mathematics lessons that inspire pupils and promote high academic achievement across secondary age groups.
Key Responsibilities

Plan, prepare, and deliver high-impact Mathematics lessons aligned with the national curriculum.

Foster a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity, problem-solving, and student engagement.

Assess, track, and report on student progress to ensure every learner achieves their full potential.

Collaborate with department colleagues to share best practice and contribute to curriculum development.
Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.

Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics with a proven track record of effective classroom delivery.

Excellent communication and classroom management skills.

Availability to interview in September and start on Monday 2nd November 2026.
