Job DescriptionRole: Physiotherapy Lead Inpatients (fixed-term)
Location: HCA UK at The Harley Street Clinic and UCH
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week between Monday - Sunday
Shifts: 5 x 7.5 hour shifts per week between 0830-1800
Contract type: Permanent
Salary: Competitive
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Lead Physiotherapist to join our Inpatient Physiotherapy team at The Harley Street Clinic, currently rated "Outstanding" by the CQC.
You will also lead the well-established inpatient physiotherapy team at HCA @ UCH. The Harley Street Clinic provides inpatient care to across a range of specialties including critical care, cardiothoracic surgery, acute oncology and neurosurgery. HCA @ UCH is provider of specialist haematology care.
Main duties of the job
Working within our inpatient therapies department, you will provide clinical leadership across our Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy services, a team of 8 while maintaining a highly specialised inpatient caseload within your area of expertise. Working closely with the wider multidisciplinary team, you will help drive clinical excellence, service development and quality improvement initiatives.
You will support and develop colleagues through clinical supervision, mentoring and education, ensuring the delivery of safe, effective and evidence-based care across a broad range of inpatient specialities. As a senior clinician, you will lead on clinical governance activities including audit, outcome measurement and service improvement projects, while building strong relationships with consultants, referrers and key stakeholders.
Alongside your leadership responsibilities, you will manage a highly specialised caseload, using advanced clinical reasoning skills to assess, diagnose and treat complex patients, while providing clinical experience and support across intensive care and wards as required. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Physiotherapist with strong clinical and leadership skills to play a key role within one of the UK's leading private healthcare providers.
