Job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed GP to join our friendly and supportive practice team. This is a great opportunity to work within a well-established practice that values teamwork, continuity of care and high-quality patient services.

Job responsibilities
The Salaried GP will provide high-quality, patient-centred care to the practice population, working as part of the wider multidisciplinary team.
The role will include undertaking face-to-face, telephone and online consultations, managing acute and long-term conditions, prescribing and reviewing medication, making appropriate referrals, and completing associated clinical administration.
The postholder will contribute to the safe and effective running of the practice, including participation in clinical meetings, quality improvement, safeguarding, medicines management and practice development.
The GP will work collaboratively with clinical and non-clinical colleagues, maintain accurate clinical records and ensure care is delivered in line with current professional guidance, practice policies and CQC requirements.

Essential
- Be GMC registered and included on the NHS Performers List.
- Hold appropriate General Practitioner medical qualifications and current professional registration
Desirable

- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrate a professional, flexible and positive approach
- Be committed to clinical governance, safeguarding and continuous professional development
- Have a strong focus on patient safety and quality improvement
- Have knowledge and experience of using EMIS Web
- Be confident using clinical systems and maintaining accurate patient records
