Middle Office Representative

Location: Hybrid, 4 days
Employment Type: 12-month contract

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Middle Office Representative to join a dynamic operations team supporting multiple institutional clients. This role sits at the heart of the trade lifecycle, acting as a key link between clients, counterparties, and internal teams to ensure the timely and accurate processing of trades and settlements.

The position combines operational expertise, stakeholder management, and problem-solving, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders.

• Manage the settlement of trades across multiple client accounts.
• Support the trade lifecycle from trade confirmation through to settlement completion.
• Liaise with counterparties and internal teams to resolve queries, exceptions, and settlement-related issues.
• Monitor trade activity and investigate breaks, exceptions, and failed trades.
• Participate in regular client meetings to provide updates on trade status, operational activities, and process improvements.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with clients, counterparties, and internal stakeholders.
• Produce accurate client and internal management reports.
• Contribute to incident management, escalation handling, and operational problem resolution.
• Maintain high standards of data accuracy and operational control.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and identify opportunities to enhance processes and client service.
• Share knowledge and provide guidance to colleagues across the wider team.
• Act as a subject matter resource within the Middle Office function when required.
