Job summary
Fix term 10 months
We are recruiting for a part-time (25 hours per week), fixed-term Pathway Navigator to provide maternity leave cover within the Babies, Children's & Young People (BCYP) Division. Based at Graseby House, Barnet Hospital, the post-holder will support the coordination of patient pathways across paediatric services, acting as a key point of contact for patients, families and the multidisciplinary team to ensure efficient and effective care delivery.
Main duties of the job
The Pathway Navigator is responsible for coordinating patient pathways and providing comprehensive administrative support across paediatric services. The post-holder will manage clinic outcomes, patient tracking, referrals, follow-up appointments and pathway activity, ensuring patients progress through their care journey in a timely manner.
Working closely with consultants, nurses, allied health professionals and administrative colleagues, the post-holder will act as a key point of contact for patients and families, supporting effective communication and service delivery.
The post-holder will contribute to maintaining service continuity, meeting operational targets and supporting high-quality patient care throughout the maternity cover period.

- RSA 2 or RSA 3-word processing/typing or equivalent experience
- English and Maths at GCSE level or equivalent
- Demonstrable ability to meet the Trust shared commitments.
