Weekday, nights and weekend shifts are regularly available, which are easy to view and book through an app. Within a few taps youll have the nursing shifts secured that you want. There is the potential future option to work bank shifts regionally at other Elysium services across the area. Whether your nursing experience is from the NHS or private sector, you can join the team as a Bank Nurse (RMN or RNLD) with an hourly rate that includes a 12.07% uplift to cover annual leave, plus have access to a range of benefits.
Main duties of the job
The role of a Bank Nurse at Elysium Healthcare offers you the control and flexibility to work shifts according to your lifestyle as an NMC Registered Nurse in the UK. You'll join the staff bank at Thornford Park Hospital and, following a paid two-week induction, can choose from available nursing bank shifts. There is no minimum number of hours required, although regular work is encouraged to maintain service familiarity and knowledge. Shifts, including weekdays, nights, and weekends, are accessible and can be booked through an app. The potential to work bank shifts within other Elysium services is also available. The hourly rate offered includes a 12.07% uplift for annual leave. Your role involves providing high-quality, evidence-based support to service users and working as part of a team, focusing on service users' needs. What you will be doing As a Bank Nurse, you will provide high-quality evidence-based support to service users in our care, and work as part of the team, supporting colleagues and always putting the needs of service users first.

Location: Thornford Park, Crookham Hill, Thatcham, Berkshire, RG19 8ET
You will work at Thornford Park which is a combination of medium secure and low secure units and rehabilitation flats. The service provides a seamless internal care pathway supporting and empowering patients in their recovery and rehabilitation.
You will work alongside the multidisciplinary to provide personalised assessment and treatment programmes for males with mental illness/ complex care needs as well as those with personality disorder. Service users may have histories of offending and/or may have failed in previous placements.
