ABOUT THE ROLE As a Bank Senior Care Assistant at a Barchester care home, you'll look after the different needs of our residents to enable us to deliver quality, person-centred care and support. We'll also need to see that you have specific knowledge of clinical care for the elderly. Main duties of the job
As a Bank Senior Care Assistant at a Barchester care home, you'll supervise and inspire a team of dedicated Care Assistants under the guidance of the Deputy General Manager. You will assist the clinical team in areas such as medication, assessments, care plans, or care reviews. It's vital to respect the dignity and preferences of all residents while contributing to a vibrant and welcoming environment. Qualifications for this role include an NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care, along with knowledge of clinical care for the elderly. You'll work in a flexible role that offers opportunities for growth through training, aiming for career progression to roles like Care Practitioner, Regional Carer, or even nursing.
