Site Engineer
About this job
An excellent opportunity for an experienced Site Engineer to join a leading infrastructure contractor delivering major civil engineering projects. You'll play a key role in ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with project specifications.
Key Responsibilities- Manage on-site engineering activities and support project delivery teams.
- Ensure work areas are correctly set out and permits are in place.
- Maintain site surveys, records, diaries, and progress documentation.
- Coordinate with project teams, supervisors, and suppliers to ensure safe working practices.
- Review drawings and raise technical queries with the design team.
- Mentor and support junior engineers.
- Experience in a site engineering role on infrastructure or civil engineering projects.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to mentor and develop junior team members.
- Civil Engineering qualification (HNC, HND, BEng, MEng, BSc, MSc, or equivalent).
- SMSTS and First Aid certification.
- Experience on utility or similar infrastructure projects
