Job summary
Winstree Medical Practice have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Receptionist to join our busy, friendly team based in Colchester. Here you will provide assistance to doctors and practice staff and to support the practice team in their efforts to create a friendly and relaxed atmosphere where patients will feel comfortable. You will be working over two sites so must be a car owner. This position is offered on a part-time basis for 27 hours per week working over 3 days. Hours are8.00am - 6:30pm with a 90 minute unpaid lunch break.
Main duties of the job
- Booking appointments
- Answering the telephone
- Dealing with patient queries both face to face and over the telephone
- Managing emails, scanning and much more
About us
Winstree Medical Practice have two sites, Winstree Road in Stanway and Malting Green Road, in Layer De La Haye. We are a semi-rural surgery with a patient list of 8900 and growing. We are part of a well lead PCN which provides us with a varied team of clinicians to work within our surgery.
Our overarching objective is to deliver the highest standard of care. We work collaboratively with colleagues in the NHS, public and community services to make as much of an impact to improving patient access and care. Patient-centred care is a firm belief in our network, and we are looking for energetic and proactive individuals that will enjoy working within our team.
