Main duties of the job
The role involves being part of Akari Care where you will engage in creating an environment valuing and respecting elderly residents, offering personalised care. As a Domestic Assistant, you are expected to contribute positively to residents' lives, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in residents rooms and communal areas. You should have a caring nature and be adaptable, prioritising resident care while promoting continual improvement of standards. The position involves working collaboratively with domestic and laundry teams, fostering a clean and healthy environment, respecting the individualism and dignity of residents. You are expected to adhere to all policies and procedures, ensuring the highest standards that contribute significantly to residents' lives. The job requires flexibility, adaptability, a strong work ethic, a warm engaging persona, and the ability to work under pressure.
