IT Hardware Technician - Derby Onsite

Sanderson is working in partnership with a leading global provider of ICT Services for the large enterprise and public sector markets. We have several opportunities for IT Hardware Engineer.

Role - IT Hardware Engineer
Duration -End of July 2027
Location - Derby, Onsite
Rate - £25.75/Hour via Umb

Role:
* Build new Windows 11 devices using standardised images and task sequences
* Enroll devices into Microsoft Intune / Autopilot (or SCCM where applicable)
* Install core applications (Microsoft 365 Apps, VPN, security tools, line-of-business apps)
* Deploy Windows 11 devices to end users in line with rollout schedule
* Decommission legacy Windows 10 devices in line with IT policies
* Backup, restoration, and migration of user data
* Securely wipe data using approved tools and methods
* Remove devices from Azure AD / Intune / CMDB systems
* Manage laptop and device handover to multiple users and sites
* IT equipment Install/Move/Add/Change and Disposal ( data wipe and end of life support)
