Due to continued practice development, increasing patient demand, and to replace positions, we are looking to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic Salaried GP to join our friendly and supportive team at Westbrook Medical Centre.

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a well-established, forward-thinking practice caring for approximately 10,000 patients. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality patient-centred care within a collaborative and welcoming environment.

Main duties of the job

The successful applicant will undertake the full range of general practice duties, including:

  • Routine GP consultations
  • Telephone and online consultations
  • Home visits where appropriate
  • Participation in practice meetings and clinical governance activities
  • Supporting the ongoing development of high-quality patient services

  • Included on the NHS Performers List.

  • Good organisational and time management skills.
  • Commitment to professional development and clinical governance.
  • Focused on general practice primary care, and the treatment of patients.
  • Able to work in the UK without additional licence / sponsorship.
  • Experienced in the use of SystmOne.

Desirable

  • Experience using Systm Connect.
  • Interest in service development or a clinical special interest.
  • Experience in mentoring / supervising teaching trainees / students.
  • Understanding of QOF and wider NHS primary care priorities.
