Facilities Coordinator
About this job
Facilities Coordinator
Location: Reigate, Surrey
Hours: Monday to Friday
Are you a proactive and customer-focused professional looking to build your career in Facilities Management? We are seeking a Facilities Coordinator to join our team at Surrey Council, supporting the delivery of high-quality facilities management services across a diverse property portfolio.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role, thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service. Working closely with the Senior Facilities Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day management of facilities operations, maintenance activities, health and safety compliance and stakeholder engagement.
As Facilities Coordinator, you will be responsible for responding to enquiries from colleagues, customers and suppliers, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently and professionally. You will support the management of planned and reactive maintenance activities, assist with property inspections and site visits, and help maintain accurate records of compliance checks and facilities-related documentation.
The role will involve working alongside internal teams, clients and service providers to ensure facilities services are delivered to a consistently high standard. You will also support property onboarding and mobilisation activities, contribute to projects and initiatives, and help drive a positive safety-first culture across the portfolio.
We are looking for someone with previous experience in a customer-facing role who can demonstrate strong communication, organisational and administrative skills. You should be confident managing multiple priorities, working independently and building positive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering excellent service are essential.
The successful candidate will have a good understanding of property compliance requirements and routine building checks, with the ability to accurately record, monitor and report findings. Strong IT skills, including experience with Microsoft Office applications and database systems, are also required.
In return, you will have the opportunity to work within a supportive and professional environment where development is encouraged and where you can make a real contribution to the success of both our clients and the wider business. Experience within a facilities management or service delivery environment would be advantageous, and whilst a full driving licence is desirable, it is not essential.
If you are an organised, adaptable and customer-focused individual who is passionate about providing outstanding facilities support, we would love to hear from you.
Apply today and become part of a team committed to delivering exceptional workplace experiences and facilities management services.
