An established international school in Lao Cai is looking for passionate Mathematics Teachers to join its secondary team. The school is seeking educators who can make Mathematics engaging, relevant and challenging while helping students develop the confidence to tackle complex problems.

Overview

You will teach Mathematics across the secondary years, planning lessons that develop conceptual understanding, mathematical reasoning and problem-solving skills.

Rather than simply focusing on procedures, you will encourage students to question, analyse and apply their mathematical knowledge to different situations.

You will also support students in achieving strong academic outcomes and preparing for future study.

The Ideal Candidate

• Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Education or a related field
• PGCE, QTS or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Experience teaching Mathematics within an international curriculum
• Cambridge curriculum experience is highly desirable
• Previous international school experience is preferred
• Strong classroom management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Passionate about Mathematics and student achievement
• Able to create engaging lessons that challenge and support different learners
