Overview

As an ESL Teacher, you will support secondary students in developing their English language abilities through engaging, practical and purposeful lessons. You will help learners strengthen their speaking, listening, reading and writing skills while encouraging them to become confident and independent communicators.

You will create a positive classroom environment where students feel comfortable participating, asking questions and developing their skills through active learning.

The Ideal Candidate

• Bachelor's Degree in Education, English or a related field
• PGCE, QTS or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• TESOL, TEFL or CELTA qualification is advantageous
• Minimum 2 years' teaching experience
• Experience teaching secondary ESL students is preferred
• International or bilingual school experience is highly desirable
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Creative, adaptable and student-centred approach to teaching
