SEN TUTOR1:1 Tuition | SEN | EBSA | Anxiety | Flexible Support

Academics are looking for an experienced and compassionate SEN Tutor to provide 1:1 support to children and young people across the Medway area.

Are you a SEN Tutor, Teacher, HLTA or experienced education professional who is passionate about helping children who have struggled to engage with mainstream education?

This could be the opportunity for you!

As a SEN Tutor, you will work on a 1:1 basis with children and young people who may be experiencing:

• SEN and additional learning needs
• EBSA (Emotionally Based School Avoidance)
• Anxiety and school-related barriers
• Low confidence and motivation
• Difficulties engaging with education
• Social, emotional and behavioural needs

You will provide a calm, supportive and nurturing learning environment, building a positive relationship with the student and helping them to rebuild their confidence in education.

We would love to hear from SEN Tutors and Teachers who have:

• Experience working with children or young people with SEN
• Understanding of EBSA, anxiety or school avoidance
• A patient, nurturing and trauma-informed approach
• Experience delivering 1:1 tuition or intervention
• The ability to adapt learning around the individual student
• A genuine passion for helping young people make progress
