Christchurch Medical Practice is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Salaried GP to join our dedicated Same Day Acute & Urgent Care service.

This is an exciting opportunity for a GP who enjoys managing acute presentations and urgent clinical problems in a focused role, providing timely assessment and treatment for patients requiring same-day care. The role is designed to support safe working and offers the opportunity to concentrate predominantly on acute and urgent care, working alongside an experienced and collaborative multidisciplinary team.

Main duties of the job

  • Same-day acute and urgent care consultations
  • Face-to-face, telephone and remote consultations
  • Reviewing results and actioning clinical correspondence
  • Completing referrals, reports and associated clinical administration
  • Working collaboratively with the wider practice and PCN teams to deliver high-quality patient care
