Are you a registered Pharmacy Technician with a passion for digital transformation and innovation?
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Digital Pharmacy Team at MPFT for a 15-month fixed term contract.
Come be part of a multi-award-winning Pharmacy team who has the opportunity to be part of first of type pharmacy digital initiatives.
As the Lead Digital Transformation Pharmacy Technician, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Pharmacy Team and the wider trust with the Pharmacy digital transformation programme, helping to improve prescribing, medicines administration, clinical workflows, data quality and reporting, staff experience and, most importantly, patient safety.
The post holder will have the opportunity to maintain skills and competencies by regularly supporting Pharmacy Clinical Hospital Services to include the Final Accuracy Checking of Medications.
Main duties of the job
- Take the lead for the analysis of prescribing and business data, and reporting this at a senior level within the pharmacy team and preparing thematic reports for Care Groups.
- Lead on the development of new pharmacy systems e.g. EPMA and EPS that may involvepartnership working within ICS systems

- Post-registration experience as a pharmacy technician within the NHS or Health Care Provider setting.
- Accredited checking qualification or equivalent relevant experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate digital medicines information to staff from different professional backgrounds.
- Experience & knowledge of medicines management processes, medicines optimisation and safe use of medicines.
Desirable

- Experience of system testing, user acceptance testing, issue logging or change control
