Job summary

Are you a highly motivated, compassionate and enthusiastic nurse with a passion for clinical excellence and strong leadership skills in acute nursing?

Our Matron role presents an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated senior nurse to provide visible, effective and compassionate leadership across our Urgent and Emergency Care Division.

Working collaboratively with your Matron colleagues, you will form part of an inspirational and supportive nursing leadership team, committed to demonstrating the Trust's CARE values through our behaviours, decisions and actions.

We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking senior nurse who can provide strong leadership and support to our Urgent and Emergency Care Division as it continues its journey towards delivering Outstanding Care. You will have the ability to inspire, engage and empower colleagues, while maintaining a clear focus on patient safety, quality improvement and the delivery of consistently high standards of care.

If shortlisted, you will be invited to attend an interview, which will include participation in a number of assessment activities. These may include a written exercise, group activity and/or an individual presentation to a Board panel.Full details of the assessment activities will be provided on the day.There is no requirement for candidates to undertake any preparation in advance.
