Job summary
THIS POST IS FIXED TERM/SECONDMENT FOR 14 MONTHS UNTIL 31/12/2027 DUE TO MEET THE NEEDS OF THE SERVICE

A rare and exciting opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic Band 4 Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our Mental Health Occupational Therapy Team. You will be working with the Adult Mental Health (AMH) Team across the inpatient and community services in Arfon and Ynys Mon. You will work alongside multi-disciplinary colleagues in the Community Mental Health Team and Inpatient Team. You will be working under the clinical and operational management of an Occupational Therapy Team Lead and be part of a wider Occupational Therapy AMH Team in the West area.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be required to complete delegated work from registered Occupational Therapists following completion of assessments You will deliver interventions and rehabilitation programmes to aid recovery and maintain skills. You will need a knowledge of a range of rehabilitation interventions, alongside understanding a diverse range of conditions and current issues that affect mental health and occupational therapy services.This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual who is passionate about the value of Occupational Therapy within a mental health setting.
