SEND Teaching Assistant

Clockwork Education have been approached by a lovely, welcoming school in Bishop Auckland, County Durham to assist them in finding a part time SEND teaching assistant to support them across Key Stage 1 and 2.
The role is working Monday to Friday with an immediate start and will be on an ongoing basis.
The role is to work one to one with SEND children and some group work will be required - the school require someone who is proactive and is happy to lead group sessions.
Responsibilities
- Supporting a range of children child with SEND needs
- Extra support during lessons
- Working independently with one child and small groups
- To use own initiative and take the lead
Requirements
- Confident and experienced in working with a child on a one to one basis
- Level 2 Qualification
- Provide 2 references, preferably from an educational background
- To hold or put in process an enhanced DBS disclosure
