We are recruiting a People Services Administrator to join a busy and supportive People & Culture team within a well-established education organisation. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting colleagues throughout the employee lifecycle while developing your expertise across recruitment, onboarding, payroll administration, learning and development, and HR systems.
Working at the heart of the organisation, you'll help ensure employees receive a professional, efficient and positive experience from the moment they apply for a role through to their ongoing employment.
The Role
Key responsibilities:
- Acting as the first point of contact for HR and People Services enquiries, providing a professional and customer-focused service.
- Supporting the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, contractual changes and leavers.
- Coordinating recruitment activities and ensuring hiring processes are organised, compliant and completed efficiently.
- Managing new starter administration, including contracts, references, DBS checks and onboarding documentation.
- Preparing payroll information and supporting the monthly payroll process.
- Maintaining accurate employee records and documentation across HR systems and SharePoint.
What We're Looking For
- Level 2 Maths and English
- CIPD Level 3 qualification or currently working towards.
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience working within a People Services/HR environment in either the public sector or a large-scale private sector organisation.
- Demonstrable experience of delivering excellent customer service.
