Teaching Assistant - Ashford
Academics are currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to join one of our fantastic client schools in Ashford from September.
This is a full-time opportunity, working 5 days per week, supporting pupils within the classroom and helping to create a positive, engaging and inclusive learning environment.
The role:- Supporting the class teacher with day-to-day classroom activities
- Working with pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups where required
- Providing additional support to children with a range of learning needs
- Helping to promote positive behaviour and engagement
- Building strong relationships with pupils, staff and parents
- Has previous experience working with children or young people
- Is enthusiastic, patient and passionate about supporting children's education
- Can work effectively as part of a team
- Is available to work 5 days per week from September
- Holds an active DBS on the Update Service, or is willing to obtain one through Academics
