Main duties of the job
Every baby, child, young person and family are different, every conversation and everything we put into place for our families is supported with an individualised plan of care. You will have a wonderful opportunity to work with children and families having time to make a difference and time to care this is what makes our organisation special.
Are you a Nursing assistant who has an NVQ level 2 in Child Care, Health and Social Care, NNEB or similar clinical qualification? The role involves supporting children and young people's health, wellbeing and care needs, working alongside Advanced Nursing Assistants and Registered Nurses and the multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, effective, person-centred care.
At Andys our Advanced Nursing assistants have an NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care or Child Care or NNEB or equivalent qualification. Can you carry out delegated clinical interventions, always ensuring best practice and patient safety. Are you able to undertake delegated clinical and non-clinical tasks within your competence, and support from the Registered Nurse?
Flexibility is essential as the working hours are based on an internal rotation which includes, days, nights and weekends. The role also includes working in the community so access to a vehicle is essential, as is a full driving license.
