Site Services Engineer – Contract

Food Manufacturing | Leicester | Immediate Start 3m Contract | Temp to Perm Opportunity

We’re recruiting for an experienced Site Services Engineer to support a large food manufacturing facility in Leicester.

Working within a busy manufacturing environment, you’ll be responsible for supporting the safe and efficient operation of site services and facilities, with a particular focus on the boiler house and steam generation systems.

You’ll help ensure the boiler plant operates safely, efficiently and reliably, while maintaining compliance with relevant safety, legal, energy efficiency and environmental requirements.

• Operating and monitoring boiler plant and associated site services
• Supporting the safe and efficient running of the boiler house
• Carrying out routine checks and identifying potential issues before they impact production
• Responding to plant and equipment issues and supporting fault finding
• Maintaining high standards of safety and operational compliance
• Ensuring site services equipment is operated in line with relevant procedures and legislation
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation as required

• Must be BOAS qualified (Boiler Operation Accreditation Scheme) – essential
• Proven experience operating and managing boiler plants safely and efficiently
• Boiler house BG1 / BG2 experience – essential
• Strong understanding of boiler safety, legislation and operational requirements
• Good awareness of energy efficiency and environmental practices
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Food manufacturing experience is desirable but not essential
• A proactive and safety-focused approach

Monday to Friday – 8-hour shifts

Flexible start and finish times, for example:

• 07:00–15:00
• 08:00–16:00

• PAYE direct with Wagstaff Recruitment – £27.50 to £30.00 per hour
• PAYE through our accredited payroll partner – £35.00 to £40.00 per hour
• Shifts Inside IR35
