Primary Teacher

Position: Primary Teacher (Full-time, PPA Cover)
Location: Wavertree, Liverpool
Start Date: September 2026 - July 2027
Salary: £34,069 - £46,940 (MPS1 - MPS6) - Pay to scale after 12 weeks
(dependent on experience)

Aspire People are working with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Wavertree, Liverpool, who are seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable Primary Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis, providing PPA cover across KS1 and KS2.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher looking for a varied and rewarding role within a supportive school environment. The successful candidate will work across different year groups, delivering engaging lessons and ensuring continuity of learning while providing class teachers with their allocated PPA time.

The school welcomes applications from ECTs and experienced teachers up to MPS6, making this an excellent opportunity for teachers at different stages of their careers.
The Role:
* Providing full-time PPA cover across KS1 and KS2.
* Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons across a range of subjects and year groups.
* Adapting teaching approaches to meet the individual needs and abilities of pupils.
* Maintaining a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment.
* Supporting pupils to make progress academically, socially and emotionally.
* Working collaboratively with class teachers and support staff to ensure consistency and continuity of learning.
* Managing classroom behaviour effectively in line with the school's expectations and policies.
* Building positive relationships with pupils, staff and the wider school community.

What We're Looking For:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Applications welcomed from both ECTs and experienced Primary Teachers.
* Experience teaching within a primary school setting across KS1 and KS2.
* A confident, adaptable and enthusiastic teaching style.
* Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
* The ability to quickly build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
* A commitment to providing high-quality teaching and supporting pupil progress.
* An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to obtain one)
* The ability to provide two professional references.
