**KS1 Primary Teacher**
Are you an experienced **KS1 Teacher** with a strong understanding of phonics, early reading, and the development of young learners?
Aspire People are currently recruiting for a primary school looking for a confident teacher to join their team from **September 2026**.
This opportunity would suit a teacher who particularly enjoys working within **KS1**, understands the importance of establishing strong foundations in reading, writing and Maths, and can create an engaging and supportive classroom environment.
The school is ideally looking for someone with previous KS1 experience, particularly **Year 1 or Year 2**, although teachers with strong EYFS/KS1 backgrounds will also be considered.
**The Role:**
* Taking full responsibility for a KS1 class
* Planning and delivering engaging lessons across the National Curriculum
* Delivering effective phonics and early reading sessions
* Supporting children's development in writing and early Maths
* Assessing and tracking pupil progress
* Differentiating learning to meet individual needs
* Establishing positive behaviour and classroom routines
* Working closely with support staff and colleagues
**The Ideal Candidate:**
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Recent UK primary teaching experience
* Strong KS1 experience
* Good understanding of phonics and early reading
* Confident classroom and behaviour management
* Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum
* Patient, nurturing, and enthusiastic approach
