Temporary Learning Support Assistant - Full Time
Location: Manchester
Contract: Temporary, Full Time
Hours: Full Time, Monday-Friday
Start Date: 7th September

Eden Brown are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join a leading sixth form in Manchester on a temporary, full-time basis.

The successful candidate will work closely with teaching staff to support students in their learning and help them to achieve their academic and personal potential. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about education and enjoys working with young people.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide one-to-one and small-group support to students in the classroom
* Support students with their learning, organisation and engagement.
* Work collaboratively with teachers and other members of the support team.
* Help students develop confidence, independence and positive learning habits.
* Support students with additional learning needs where appropriate.
* Encourage a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
* Monitor student progress and communicate relevant information to teaching and pastoral staff.

About You
We are looking for someone who:

* Has a genuine commitment to supporting young people.
* Is patient, approachable and encouraging.
* Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Can build positive relationships with students and staff.
* Is reliable, organised and able to work effectively as part of a team.
* Is able to adapt their approach to meet individual student needs.
* Has previous experience working in an educational setting or supporting young people would be advantageous.

A DBS check is also needed for this role.
