Tradewind Recruitment are currently working with a number of secondary schools in Daventry and the surrounding areas, who are seeking dependable and enthusiastic Supply Teachers to provide classroom cover.

We can offer a range of assignments, from single-day bookings and regular supply work through to longer-term placements, allowing you to choose the type of work that best suits your circumstances.

Depending on the assignment, your responsibilities may include:

• Delivering lessons and activities using plans and resources provided by the school
• Ensuring pupils remain focused and engaged throughout each lesson
• Creating a calm, respectful, and productive learning environment
• Managing behaviour confidently and following the school's expectations and policies
• Adapting lesson activities where needed to suit the needs of the class
• Supporting students with their learning and encouraging positive participation
• Following school routines, safeguarding procedures, and classroom expectations
• Moving confidently between different classes, year groups, and school environments
• Providing useful feedback to the regular teacher at the end of the lesson or school day

We'd like to hear from teachers who:

• Hold QTS, QTLS, or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Have experience teaching or working within a classroom environment
• Can establish strong classroom expectations and manage behaviour effectively
• Are adaptable and confident when entering an unfamiliar school
• Are reliable, organised, and professional
• Have a positive attitude and enjoy working with young people
• Communicate effectively with both students and school staff
• Are happy teaching across their specialist subject or, where appropriate, covering a wider range of subjects
• Want to maintain a flexible teaching career while continuing to make a difference to students
