Salary: £27,000 FTE | 30 hours per week | 12 Month FTC

We are recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join a busy finance team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a varied part-time role covering purchase ledger, invoice processing and general finance administration.

The Role

As an Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for:

• Processing supplier invoices, including checking, coding and inputting invoices onto the finance system
• Maintaining accurate supplier records and information
• Investigating and resolving purchase ledger queries
• Supporting with new supplier set-up and amendments
• Assisting with invoice payment documentation
• Supporting the production of weekly and monthly reports
• Providing general administrative support to the wider Finance team
• Assisting with credit control and other finance duties when required

About You

We are looking for an Accounts Assistant with previous experience in finance administration who is:

• Highly numerate with excellent attention to detail
• Confident using Microsoft Office packages
• Well organised with the ability to prioritise your own workload
• Comfortable working to deadlines in a busy environment
• A strong communicator who works well as part of a team
• Proactive, reliable and willing to support across the wider finance function
