Pay - £95-£115 per day, depending on experience
Contract Type - Full-Time, Temp to Permanent
Are you an experienced sports coach, looking for a new role with SEMH? We are currently working on behalf of a SEMH provision in South Manchester, to recruit passionate and dedicated sports coach to join their team.
The school is a pupil referral unit that supports pupils aged between 4-11, with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. Your role will be to support pupils on a 1:1 basis, using sports to encourage engagement.
As a Sports Coach, you will:
- Create fun and engaging sessions involving sports and outdoor activity
- Support pupils 1:1, building strong, trusting relationships
- Maintain regular communication with SLT, parents and external agencies to monitor progress and development
What we are looking for:
- Up to date safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
- Team Teach training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
- A passion for sports coaching and supporting young people
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
