Contract Rate: £400 - £450 per day (PAYE)
Engagement Type: Long-Term Contract (AMP8 Framework)

Project OverviewWe are seeking an experienced General Foreman to join a civil engineering contractor delivering water treatment infrastructure upgrades in Eastleigh. This long-term contract supports capital projects across clean and wastewater processing facilities.
As lead operational supervisor, you will take direct ownership of daily site execution, managing direct labor gangs, sub-contractors, plant, and material resources across civil engineering, groundworks, and M&E integration packages.
Key Responsibilities-
Operational Delivery: Drive daily production across civil works, deep drainage, reinforced concrete (RC) structures, pipework, and earthworks.

Workforce Supervision: Direct sub-contractors and site labor, ensuring high productivity, quality workmanship, and strict adherence to specifications.

Health & Safety: Enforce site safety policies, execute RAMS, deliver daily inductions/toolbox talks, and maintain a zero-harm environment.

Planning & Progress: Partner with Site Managers to manage 1-3 week lookaheads, track outputs, and resolve logistical issues.

Quality & Reporting: Conduct pre- and post-work quality checks, log daily site diaries, and manage material deliveries.

Experience: Proven track record as a General Foreman in the UK water sector (AMP frameworks) or heavy civil infrastructure.

Technical Skills: Strong practical knowledge of civils, RC structures, deep drainage, and groundworks on active water sites.

Mandatory Tickets: Gold/Black CSCS Card, SMSTS or SSSTS, EUSR National Water Hygiene Card, and First Aid at Work.

Desirable: Confined Spaces certification and NRSWA.
