Location: Rotherham
Salary: £51000
Shifts: 4 on 4 off days and nights

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a busy manufacturing site in Rotherham.
This is a hands-on maintenance role, working across electrical systems, machinery and production equipment. You will be responsible for breakdowns, fault finding and planned preventative maintenance, helping to keep downtime to a minimum.
The role:
• Electrical fault finding and repairs
• Planned preventative maintenance
• Working with 3-phase motors and variable speed drives
• Fault finding on PLC control systems
• Diagnosing and repairing plant and machinery
• Working closely with production teams
• Identifying ways to improve reliability and reduce downtime
• Completing maintenance records and paperwork
• Working safely and following site procedures
You will need:
• Electrical engineering qualification or relevant experience
• At least 3 years' experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Strong electrical fault-finding skills
• Experience with PLC control systems
• Experience with motors and drives
• Ability to read engineering drawings
• Good problem-solving skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable and proactive approach
Mechanical maintenance experience would be an advantage.
