Main duties of the job

As a qualified Mental Health Nurse (RMN) at Elysium Healthcare's Wellesley Hospital, you'll ensure men and women with mental health conditions receive high-quality care while supporting colleagues. The role promises a busy and engaging workday, with routine and variety. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you'll provide effective, compassionate nursing care, be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care, and provide mentorship to team members. You'll also observe and report service user changes, maintaining accurate records. A relevant nursing qualification, NMC registration, strong team-working skills, high self-motivation, a flexible approach, and a naturally caring and positive attitude are essential.

You will be working at Wellesley Hospital, a purpose built 101 bed hospital in Wellington (Somerset) for men and women with mental health needs.

There are 6 wards for people with mental health needs and 1 ward for people with Learning Disabilities and Autism.

The Wellesley Hospital built in 2017 works alongside Devon Partnership NHS Trust, Avon and Wiltshire Foundation Trust, Cornwall Foundation Trust, 2gether Foundation Trust, and Livewell to deliver the best possible environment for patients with mental health issues.
