We have an exciting opportunity for a Paramedic to join our Primary Care team at HMP Stafford, a category C Prison located in Staffordshire.
HMP Stafford has a capacity of 753 males, aged from 21 +
As a Paramedic, you will be working as part of the Primary Care tea, you will be based within the healthcare department and wing based. The site offers:- Onsite parking
- Training opportunities
Hours:
This role is a permanent role at 37.5 hours per week- Monday - Sunday service
- 37.5 hours per week
- 7.45am till 17.30pm
- 1 weekend in 3 and also bank holidays
Salary
This position is full time, youll receive an annual salary between £34,428 - £41,659- depending on experience.

Main duties of the job
As a Paramedic, your responsibilities will vary. You will
- Provide outstanding evidence based case to our patients seeking out, listening to and acting on their feedback so that care is personalised and informed by what matters to them - focussing on emergency and unplanned care to patients with both primary care and acute care needs.
- Deliver non-judgemental care, building therapeutic relationships and promoting professional boundaries.
- Playing an active part in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of the patients care following our policies, procedures and always considering safeguarding.

- Qualified Paramedic - HCPC
- Proven post-registration ambulance experience
- Evidence of continued professional development
- A non-judgmental and compassionate approach
- Proven experience in either: Accident & Emergency, Primary Care environments or Minor injuries / illness
Although not essential ideal applicants would have experience in a hospital, community or prison environment.
