We are looking for an exceptional Team Manager to lead our integrated Mental Health and Substance Use Service within a busy remand prison setting.
This is a unique and highly rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference to the lives of individuals with complex mental health and substance use needs. As Team Manager, you will provide strong clinical and operational leadership to a skilled multidisciplinary team committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care.Working within a fast-paced environment characterised by high patient turnover, diverse presentations and increasing clinical complexity, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring safe, effective and responsive care across the stepped care model. You will provide visible leadership, operational oversight, and professional support.
This role offers the opportunity to influence service development, support staff growth and wellbeing, and contribute to improved outcomes for a vulnerable population, all while working within a dynamic and challenging healthcare environment.
Main duties of the job
Our integrated service provides comprehensive assessment, treatment and support for individuals experiencing a wide range of mental health and substance use needs. The service operates across the full stepped care model and comprises a diverse multidisciplinary workforce including:o Registered Mental Health Nurses (RMNs)o Psychiatryo Psychologyo Healthcare Assistants (HCAs)o Recovery Workerso Mental Health Wellbeing Practitionerso Substance Use Practitionerso Advanced clinical practitioner The prison environment presents a unique opportunity to improve health outcomes for some of the most vulnerable people in society, requiring compassionate leadership, innovation and a commitment to high-quality care.

Inclusion, created in 2002 is part of the Specialist Services Care Group of Midlands Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (MPFT). - Relevant Degree or Post Graduate diploma/equivalent level of experience

- Demonstrable experience at Band 6/7 or equivalent
